I spent Nov. 6 to Nov. 16 in Europe, visiting my niece Amy in Munich. We took trips to Prague and Venice and Europe was much friendlier than this greeting on the other side of the Grand Canal from the Venice train station.
Europe was wonderful. It helped having a niece who learned German and was a veteran European traveler to be my tour guide, but most places we went they spoke enough English for me to get by. I'm sorry now that I didn't visit Europe earlier. I've compiled about 180 photographs from the trip onto these web pages.
Pay attention. There is a quiz at the end with prizes.

If I had enough time, I would carefully resize these photos and use the right compression to make sure they're small and load quickly without much loss of quality. Unfortunately, it took me forever just to resize the photos. So I just saved them with a standard compression. You'll find these photos tend to be slow loading, especially over a modem.
